Zrinka Premužić is an assistant professor at the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. Her teaching activities at the Anthropology Study Programme include courses Research Methods in Anthropology, Introduction to Biological Anthropology and Nutritional Anthropology at the undergraduate level and Ancient Migrations at the graduate level. She graduated in 2007 with a degree in anthropology and ethnology. She defended her doctoral dissertation entitled “Anthropological perspective of burial practices in the beginning of the Late Bronze Age in Northern Croatia” in 2016. She was a collaborator on several domestic and international scientific projects. Her research interests include interdisciplinary approach to the anthropological analysis of archaeological populations, cremains, paleopathology, anthropological perspective of infectious diseases, and nutritional anthropology.
