Call for posters

We invite poster submissions for the international bioarchaeological conference "Child Space: Narratives and New Perspectives on the Bioarchaeology of Children and Their Biosocial Complexity," to be held at the HUN-REN Research Centre for the Humanities in Budapest from June 4–6, 2025. The submission deadline is extended to Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

We welcome poster submissions in the following conference session topics:

Session 1 – Rise of Children: The research history of childhood in archaeology, the first steps and main steps, the methodological evolution

Session 2 – Children in Society: Migration, interpersonal conflicts, status-social roles in childhood, family relationships, gender

Session 3 – Feeding with Love: Attitude toward children, health, diet, living conditions, diseases, growth

Session 4 – Child in Space and Time: Where are we in childhood research regarding different archaeological periods? What are the research routes?
